Since the beginning of the year, the price of oyster mushroom in all regions of Ukraine fell on average by 1.0-2.0 UAH / kg. Demand for this mushroom also decreased. Nevertheless, manufacturers in most regions admit that they are not very worried about this fall, because the bulk of their products have already been sold by this time.
Over the past two weeks, the price of oyster mushroom in the Central region of Ukraine fell by an average of 2.0 UAH / kg. The average cost of a kilogram of oyster mushroom when selling at wholesale today is within 12.0-13.0 hryvnia. Nevertheless, some large producers note that often in order to sell more mushrooms, they have to lower the price of it by an average of 1.0 hryvnia (up to 11.0 UAH / kg). Oyster mushrooms are delivered to supermarkets at 16.0-18.0 UAH / kg, which is also on average 2.0 UAH / kg less than in the first days of 2013.
Over the past two weeks, the price of oyster mushroom in the southern region of Ukraine (in general) has changed several times. By the end of the holiday period, the cost of oyster mushrooms in some areas dropped to 8.0 UAH / kg when sold in bulk. Nevertheless, by the beginning of this week, the cost of the product again returned to the mark of 12-15 UAH / kg. Today, mushrooms are delivered to supermarkets at a price of 17.0-18.0 UAH / kg, which is on average 1.0-1.5 UAH / kg less compared to the beginning of the year.
A similar situation is observed in the east of Ukraine. The overall decrease in the cost of oyster mushrooms is 2.0-2.5 UAH / kg compared with the beginning of the year. Today, manufacturers of oyster mushrooms sell their products in bulk at 12.0-14.0 hryvnia per kilogram. Nevertheless, some of them, due to the decrease in sales of the mushroom, manage to raise the price of their products to 15.0-16.0 UAH / kg. At the same time, in Lugansk and Dnepropetrovsk, due to large quantities of unrealized mushroom, prices for oyster mushroom dropped to 10.0-11.0 UAH / kg. The mushroom goes to supermarkets in the region at 16.0-17.0 UAH / kg, which is on average 2.0-2.5 UAH / kg lower than the price established at the beginning of 2013.
