– According to our estimation, this is about 500 farms. But small farms are common in Serbia, so many of those five hundreds of farms have one or two rooms. Some mushroom growers cooperate with each other.

What are the prices for mushrooms?

– In Serbia, mushroom prices are low. The normal price for us is less than 1 Euro per kilogram. This is the first price – from the farm. What are the current yields in Serbia?

– Many farms are small and do not have the appropriate equipment. Therefore, yields are very different in summer and winter. In the cold months, the yield that can be achieved – even 30 kg per m2. Now is summer and yields fall to 27-25 kg per m2 and less.

We remind you that the consumption of mushrooms in Serbia exceeds 1 kg / year / person.
