The current price of champignon in the Central and Western regions of Ukraine has changed several times. In southern Ukraine, the increase in the cost of the fungus slightly exceeded the forecasted level. Eastern region – continues to raise the value of the mushroom in the wholesale sector.
A wave of a significant increase in the price of champignon has reached Western Ukraine. In the morning, the cost of mushroom in the Shuvar market was 19.0 UAH / kg. Accordingly, manufacturers for their products could already gain 17.0-17.5 UAH / kg. Closer to dinner, the price of champignon increased even more significantly. Those producers who still had mushroom in stock had the opportunity to sell it already at 20.0-21.0 hryvnia per kilogram. As of 13:00, wholesale buyers began to sell their stocks at 21.0-22.0 UAH / kg. In addition, the cost of champignon for supermarkets began to slowly increase. Today, they already got the mushroom from the producer at 19.0-19.5 UAH / kg, which is 1.0-1.5 hryvnia more than yesterday.
The situation with the cost of champignon in the Central region of Ukraine changed somewhat differently than in the West. In the morning, prices for champignon in the wholesale markets of Kiev (Troyeshchina and Stolichny) rose by 1.0-1.5 hryvnia in comparison with yesterday’s indicators and amounted to 23.0-24.0 UAH / kg. In some places, they even reached 25.0 hryvnias. Purchase of products from the manufacturer, respectively, was carried out at 21.0-22.0 rgh / kg, which is 1.0-1.5 hryvnia higher than yesterday. Nevertheless, after a few hours of trading, it became clear that it would not be possible to sell all volumes of the mushroom at such prices, and sellers were forced to lower the price to 22.0-23.0 UAH / kg. Meanwhile, the price of champignon for supermarkets at the moment remains virtually unchanged. Manufacturers report that they sell their products at prices ranging from 23.0 to 24.0-25.0 hryvnia per kilogram.
In the southern region of Ukraine, as predicted yesterday, the cost of mushrooms for supermarkets has increased. However, the price has risen slightly more than we expected. Instead of the forecasted 27.0 hryvnia per kilogram of champignon, the producers managed to get a price of 28.0 UAH / kg from the networks. For wholesale champignon still goes at a price of 25.0 UAH / kg, which corresponds to yesterday’s figure in this segment.
In eastern Ukraine, the cost of champignon for wholesalers has once again risen significantly. Today, mushrooms diverge at prices (in a rather wide range) of 27.0-33.0 UAH / kg. Trade with supermarkets, meanwhile, is carried out at 27.0-29.0 hryvnia per kilogram, which is almost the same as yesterday’s price for mushrooms in this segment.
