From today, the company Mikogen-Ukraine has started shipment of compost to its customers a new, reduced price. Instead of 1600 UAH / t, the price of one ton of compost is now is 1450 UAH, that is, a decrease of about 10%. Given the compost share in the cost structure, a reduction in the price of compost pozvodit manufacturers reduce their costs by 4-6%. The new price was the lowest price among the three largest producers of compost, accounting for slightly more than 26 UAH / briquette.
According to IA “Umdis” compost prices of different producers in Ukraine last year were in the range from 1500 to 1650 UAH / t. However, due to the bad season in the mushroom producers, the demand for compost decreased, and production komposnye forced to take measures to stimulate demand, one of which, apparently, is to reduce prices. Some small compost producers had earlier this year lowered the prices, especially in cases where their customers can not collect a decent crop.
