As reported mir24.tv,Recalling Genome Biology, researchers have put forward the hypothesis that the man was part of the genes of viruses, fungi and chordates. Experts have studied the genome of 24 species, including fruit flies, nematodes and humans. It was found that human DNA contains 17 genes, derived from the horizontal transfer – a process in which the body transfers material mean it is not a descendant. The researchers also found another 128 foreign genes that man has received from fungi, viruses, and other organisms.
