Over the past 2 weeks, the price of oyster mushrooms in Ukraine has increased markedly. In the whole country, oyster mushroom on average went up by 1.5-3.0 UAH / kg. The price increase, as in the case of champignon, is associated with a failure in the proposal after the end of the New Year’s harvest.
In the central region of Ukraine, oyster mushrooms from farms are sold at no less than 14 UAH / kg, although very many producers manage to get a price of at least 15.5-16.0 UAH / kg. Cashless sales start from the mark of 16 UAH / kg. Supermarkets take bulk oyster mushrooms at prices from 16 to 18 UAH / kg, packaged oyster mushrooms – at prices from 20 to 24 UAH / kg
In the south of Ukraine, the price of oyster mushrooms from farms is 1.0-1.5 UAH lower than the price in the central region. Oyster mushrooms are given from farms at prices from 14 UAH / kg, retail buys mushrooms at prices from 16 to 18 UAH / kg
In western Ukraine, where there are few oyster mushroom farms, prices vary greatly from producer to producer. From farms and markets, oyster mushroom there is usually given at prices from 14 to 16 UAH / kg, supermarkets buy it at 18-19 UAH / kg.
